Schroth Intensive & Semi-Intensive Sessions
Extended, focused Schroth care for people willing to travel.
If you live in an area without access to Schroth Physical Therapy, or you’re willing to drive a distance for specialized care, our intensive and semi-intensive programs are built for you. Unlike most physical therapy practices, we offer extended sessions, so you can accomplish in a few days what would otherwise take weeks of shorter visits. Many of our patients travel 1–2 hours to see us, and some come from much farther.
Intensive: An Immersive Experience
We recommend 8–16 hours of therapy over 3–5 days, depending on complexity. You may need more time if you have a complex curve, a more or less active lifestyle, long-standing pain, or an interest in learning weightlifting techniques with scoliosis. Along with Schroth, your program can include hands-on pain relief and exercise programming suited to your goals. You’ll leave with the confidence to replicate your Schroth routine at home.
Intensive sessions are priced at $285 per hour. Your total cost depends on the number of hours you book.
Semi-Intensive: A Hybrid Experience
Prefer a more flexible option? Semi-intensive combines fewer days in the clinic with continued virtual consults and links to the ScolioFocus online program, so you stay supported and on track after you leave.
Returning Patients
If you’ve had Schroth therapy before, we recommend 2–4 hours as a refresher.
Before You Book
An X-ray is required before starting Schroth therapy. Please email your X-rays before your first appointment, or bring your imaging on disc to be uploaded to your chart. Read our FAQs about X-rays.
Intensives are accommodated by request with advance notice. Please call to ask about availability. Because we reserve a large block of time for each intensive, a deposit is required at booking, with payment in full due one month before your start date.
